How We Can Help

Learn How to Train for Hiking

We were personal trainers, in a past life, for over 20 years. Hiking was something we used to do on the side until it became our full time passion.

The blending of these two worlds gives us a unique perspective on how to prepare diverse populations to hike the trails they want. From beginners looking to get started to advanced hikers looking to take down their next peak.

We’ve gathered our experiences from hundreds of destinations to help you prepare to explore.

This includes training programs based on your fitness level as well pictures and detail on what to expect.

Guides to Destinations and National Parks

Our Destination and National Park guides give you sample itineraries for each location including Free Campsites, Epic Hikes and the Best Coffee, Burgers and Beer Around.

Hi I’m, Jason LaChance

Current van lifer, hiker and seeker of adventure.

In the past I worked a normal 8 to 6 (or 8 to 8) type of job. One where I was comfortable and content with the money I was making and the company I was working for.  I always knew something was missing but I didn’t want to mess up what was a pretty good life.

That is until a turning point where I saw the lifestyle that others were living on the road.  Exploring the world, chasing their dreams and making a difference in the world.

So I chose to pursue my own opportunities, adventures and dreams.

It has been such a life changing experience that I wanted to help others choose their own horizon. To choose opportunities and go after their dreams.  To not be content with the comfortable or what society tells them their life should be. To realize that there is more than the 9 to 5.

This site was built, through a combination of mistakes made and lessons learned, to inspire and guide others. To deliver the best build advice, road life resources, destinations and bucket list hikes. All while sharing the must see travel spots along the way.

Use it as a guide to build your own van, plan your trips and to learn more about this life changing path.
